It’s Kindness Week!

Hello, Parents,

It’s Kindness Week and Teacher Appreciation Week. Please, do not feel obligated to do this. If you do feel like participating, here are some daily themes for the week:

Monday- “A Simple Note of Thanks”- Bring in a handwritten note or card

Tuesday– “Thank you for Helping Me Grow”- Bring a flower pot or plant (nothing poisonous to cats/ flower pens or something with a flower on it is fine as well/ small plants in pots are best for our classroom)

Wednesday- “You are Very Sweet”- Bring in a sweet treat

Thursday-“You Are Quite Sharp”-Bring in a school supply for the classroom (glue sticks, scissors, paper towels, tissues, sticky notes)

Friday– “Thank You For Being You” – Bring something from the teacher’s favorite thing list

Please remember to return your child’s Healthwise permission slip (sent home in last week’s Thursday Folder.)  This is permission for your child to attend an elementary school level Human Growth & Development class. The boys and girls are separated, and they discuss hormonal changes and appropriate hygiene. Please, have the permission form signed (whether it’s yes or no) and returned by Wednesday of next week.
